NEW BOOK IN OUR CHURCH LIBRARY! We have two new children's books in our library which have been written by a local author and illustrator. They are part of a series about a miniature donkey named Ernest. The two titles are Teeny Tiny Ernest and Ernest's Special Christmas. Author Laura Barnes and illustrator Carol Camburn are the creators. The stories involve themes of friendship, resolving differences, learning self-acceptance and valuing even the smallest animals - all based on the formerly homeless creatures on the author's farm in Hunterdon County NJ. These are great stories for families to read together. If you enjoy animals you will love them. Let us know how you like them and whether you think we should add more of the 'Ernest Series' to our library collection. |
