Suzanne Zak, is our Director of Music. She completed her undergraduate studies in Philadelphia and received her master’s degree from the State University of New York (SUNY) Purchase College Conservatory of Music. Suzanne lost the use of her left hand for eight years, due to pinched nerves. Just one year after corrective surgery, she placed second in two New York City competitions, leading to solo performances at Carnegie Hall, and orchestral performances at Merkin Hall. She has also placed highly in several international competitions. Recently, Suzanne gave a sold out performance of “Classical Favorites” at the Sellersville Theater. She enjoys educating her audience with a user friendly concert format, giving a brief synopsis of the piece and its importance in the realm of classical music. |
